In the stillness of darkness night,
When shadows whisper their secrets,
I ponder on what lies beyond this realm,
The ethereal beyond, where spirits dwell.
No longer confined to earthly binds,
Free from the weight of mortal sins,
The afterlife beckons, a mystical domain,
Where the soul journeys, to forever sustain.
But what fate awaits beyond the veil?
Will it be eternal bliss, or ceaseless travail?
Do we reunite with loved ones past,
Or wander alone, through eternity vast?
Will all be forgiven, our transgressions absolved,
Or do we face judgment, our deeds involved?
Does the journey of life continue to unfold,
Or do we sleep in peaceful slumber, untold?
I wonder if colours there are brighter,
If melody's echo in celestial choir,
If peace and serenity forever abide,
Or chaos and torment become our guide.
After Life, a mystery profound,
Beyond mortal comprehension, we've found,
Yet in the heart, a glimmer shines,
A hope that transcends the limits of time.
For even in the darkest night,
The promise of daybreak brings forth light,
And though we may not truly know,
Faith teaches us, love continues to grow.
In this uncertain journey we partake,
Let kindness and compassion be our wake,
Embrace each moment, cherish the divine,
For in the afterlife, love will intertwine.
So, as we tread this mortal coil,
Let's strive to nurture goodness, not spoil,
And let our actions, like ripples in a lake,
Bring solace, in the afterlife we make.
