Let Nigeria be Nigeria again,
The land of hope, of peace, of light,
Where dreams once soared like eagles' flight,
Where unity’s song was sung by all,
And the mighty stood with the small.
A land where justice reigned supreme,
Where every voice had space to dream,
A nation built on truth and right,
Where every day was bright with light.
But now the shadows stretch so far,
And dreams lie broken, marred by war,
By greed that tears the land apart,
And sows division in every heart.
The fields once green, now stained with red,
By blood of innocents, by dread.
The rivers that once flowed with grace,
Now carry tears of a fractured race.
Oh, let Nigeria be Nigeria again,
Where tribes unite, not as foes, but friends,
Where every child, no matter their name,
Can dream and grow, and stake their claim.
Where leaders serve with heart and mind,
Not for power, but for all mankind.
Where wealth is shared, not hoarded tight,
And every dawn brings forth new light.
Let Nigeria rise from its ashes of pain,
And be a beacon of hope again.
Let the cries of the past be soothed,
And every wound with care be smoothed.
Let corruption be banished, its grip undone,
And the hearts of the people beat as one.
Let every hand find honest work,
And in every corner, let justice lurk.
Let Nigeria be a land of peace,
Where the sounds of war and strife shall cease,
Where children laugh, and elders smile,
And every journey is worth the mile.
Where the streets are safe, the skies are clear,
And no one lives in constant fear.
Let Nigeria's soil, so rich and vast,
Nurture the seeds of a future cast.
But how, you ask, can this be done?
When the wounds of the past weigh a ton?
When the scars of history still bleed,
And every heart is filled with need?
It starts with you, it starts with me,
In every action, small though it be.
In every word, in every deed,
We plant the future, we sow the seed.
Let Nigeria be Nigeria again,
Where the spirit of hope is not in vain.
Where the youth rise up with minds so bright,
To lead with wisdom, to stand for right.
Where education is a right for all,
And no one fears the night to fall.
Where every tribe, every creed, every tongue,
Sings the anthem of peace, forever sung.
Let Nigeria stand tall and free,
A nation bound in unity.
Where the flag of green and white flies high,
And every tear is wiped dry.
Where the giants of Africa’s heart,
Play their role, do their part.
Where the world can look and see,
A beacon of what can be.
Let Nigeria’s forests grow green again,
Let the deserts bloom with life’s refrain.
Let the cities buzz with commerce and trade,
And every hand in labour be paid.
Let the arts flourish, let culture thrive,
And every corner comes alive.
Let the drums of Africa beat strong,
In the rhythm of Nigeria’s song.
But more than wealth, more than might,
Let Nigeria be a beacon of light.
A land where every soul can find,
A place of peace, a state of mind.
Where justice rolls like a river wide,
And truth flows like an endless tide.
Where every man, woman, and child,
Can live in harmony, free and wild.
Let Nigeria be a land of law,
Where the weak find strength, and the strong give more.
Where the courts are just, and the prisons few,
And every promise made is true.
Where leaders lead with heart and hand,
And justice flows across the land.
Where every citizen, proud and free,
Can walk the streets in dignity.
Let Nigeria be a land of dreams,
Where nothing is ever as it seems.
Where every horizon is within reach,
And every voice has the right to teach.
Where the land itself, so rich, so fair,
Is a gift we all should share.
Let the oil that flows beneath our feet,
Be a blessing, not a curse we meet.
Let Nigeria be a land of care,
Where every neighbor’s load we bear.
Where the rich and poor can share a meal,
And every wound can start to heal.
Let the markets be full, the granaries stocked,
And no door of opportunity locked.
Let the schools be bright, the hospitals clean,
And no one ever lost, unseen.
Let Nigeria be a land of grace,
Where every face can find its place.
Where the past is healed, the future bright,
And every day brings new delight.
Let the arts and culture thrive and grow,
And every mind its worth can show.
Let the music play, the dancers dance,
And every heart takes every chance.
But most of all, let love be the guide,
Through every trial, every tide.
For in love's embrace, all wounds can heal,
And every dream can become real.
Let Nigeria be a land of hope,
Where every citizen can cope.
Where every hand can find its work,
And no one ever has to shirk.
Let Nigeria be Nigeria again,
The land of peace, the land of men.
Where every tribe and tongue unite,
And every day is full of light.
Where the future is bright, the past forgiven,
And every soul can see the heaven.
Let Nigeria be a land of dreams,
Where nothing is ever as it seems.
For in this land, so rich, so fair,
Is a future we all can share.
Let Nigeria be Nigeria again,
Where every heart can feel the gain.
Where every life can find its way,
And every night can lead to day.
Let Nigeria rise, let Nigeria shine,
A land of hope, a land divine.
Let Nigeria be a land of light,
Where every wrong is made right.
Where justice reigns, where peace prevails,
And every stormy wind exhales.
Let the leaders lead with wisdom and care,
And every citizen do their share.
Let the land be green, the waters pure,
And every soul finds something sure.
For in Nigeria's heart, the future lies,
A land of hope, beneath the skies.
Where every hand can find its place,
And every heart can know its grace.
Let Nigeria be Nigeria again,
The land of peace, the land of men.
Where every tribe and tongue unite,
And every day is full of light.
